HydraFacial. We’ve all heard of it, but what is it?

July 3, 2021

The HydraFacial is a 6-step facial in 60 minutes targeting a multitude of skin concerns in just one appointment. It’s the perfect treatment for a lunch break! These 6 steps include:

  • Lymphatic Drainage– This helps to remove any toxins or waste out of the skin, to allow fresh new nutrients to come into the skin to restore your skin health. Perfect for sluggish circulation and any underlying puffiness beneath the skin.

  • Deep cleanse and exfoliation– a combination of both a physical exfoliator and chemical exfoliator using Lactic Acid and a ‘hydradermabrasion’ tip to break down any build-up of dead skin cells and re-texturise the surface of your skin, leaving the skin feeling smooth and fresh.

  • Chemical Peel- Using a combination of Glycolic acid and Salicylic acid, this step will help lighten and brighten the skin’s surface, leaving visibly radiant skin.

  • Extraction– Using a combination of vacuum suction and salicylic acid, this step will ensure any unwanted blackheads or congestion are effortlessly removed from the pores, leaving tightened and refined pores behind.

  • Hydration– Using a high percentage of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, multi-peptides and peptides and a combination of botanical ingredients to not only hydrate the skin but also reverse the signs of ageing!

  • LED light therapy– using either red lights or blue lights, this step will help to lighten and brighten the skin, reduce redness, reduce sebum and bacteria and stimulate collagen and fibroblast cell production for the ultimate ending to a treatment. Maximising your skin’s potential!

How often do I need to have the HydraFacial?

Well, like you would have your hair, nails, and any other appointments once a month, the HydraFacial is designed to be a monthly treat for your skin!  You can have the HydraFacials as soon as once a week for specific skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, or ageing.

How do I prep my skin for the Hydrafacial?

Prepping for a HydraFacial is pretty simple. We ask that you refrain from using any AHA, BHA, PHA, Exfoliating scrubs, or Retinol products for a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment. We also advise avoiding sun exposure/sunbeds for 7 days before your appointments or until any sunburn has settled. If you are having any other treatments elsewhere, such as laser, we ask that you make a member of staff aware of this before booking.

How can I expect my skin to look following my treatment?

You can expect to see visible instant glowing results! The skin will feel smoother, fresh, and plump with visibly clear and rejuvenated skin.
