Misshapen Lips
Some people are born with misshapen or thin lips, whereas others will develop the condition as they get older, with significant changes in lip shape often occurring around the age of 30. The lips, like many other parts of the body, are supported by both collagen and elastin – two key proteins that keep the skin healthy and youthful. As we age, the levels of collagen and elastin found in our lips decrease. This results in various facial changes, with most people finding that their lips lose their natural fullness, colour or shape over time.
