Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty

Advanced focused Plasma technology to tighten the skin

Plasma treatment works by triggering a contraction of the skin fibres to bring about a tightening, lifting and remodelling effect. Plasma treatment is perfect for delicate non-surgical eye lid tightening surgery (blepharoplasty) as well as other skin tightening treatments.

In our youth, we possess collagen and elastin in abundance. These are proteins produced by and stored in the skin. As we age, the levels at which we produce these proteins decreases, and what is being stored in the skin is used up.

This weakens the skin and the connective tissues that hold it in place, causing lines, wrinkles, sagging, and thinning of the skin. As protein reserves begin to deplete, you may notice certain changes, including hooded eyelids, deep lines, or hyperpigmentation.

Luckily, patients no longer have to turn to invasive and expensive surgical solutions to deal with these conditions.

Eyelid tightening through non-surgical blepharoplasty uses plasma treatment to target upper and lower eye lids.

Treatment works by forming plasma (the fourth state of matter) in the 1-2mm space between the tip of the device and the skin. Plasma forms a tiny arch which triggers a process called sublimation – where a solid turns straight into a gas – this in turn causes the fibres of the skin to shrink, contract and tighten.

Tightening of the skin fibres contracts the surface area of the skin, creating an improvement in the appearance of drooping or sagging skin on the face, eyelids etc. Due to the precise nature of Plasma, where heat is very accurately directed and doesn’t transfer to the surrounding tissues, Plasma is a safe and comfortable eye lift treatment.

Safe and in compliance with European and FDA standards.

Focused and targeted to delivery precise results.

Plasma treatment is much less invasive than laser or diathermy.

There is minimal downtime and risk of complication associated with Plasma treatment vs surgery.

No Obligation Consultation

Your first step is a no-obligation Visia consultation at Skintique Clinic with one of our skin specialists.

Meeting your Practitioner and the Consultation

Meeting your practitioner for your one-to-one consultation. This will include:

  • A full assessment your skin, concerns and desired results.
  • Details about the procedure, likely outcomes and costs.

After taking a full medical history and reviewing your Visia Gen8 images your practitioner will discuss the range of treatments available at Skintique Clinic for your skin concerns.

Your practitioner will design a bespoke plan with you based on your expectations. You will also be provided with detailed information on the procedures, the likely outcomes and the approximate timescales.

Should you then wish to go ahead with the treatments a future appointment will be made.

Treatment

On arrival for your treatment, you will be asked to check over your medical history form to confirm that nothing has changed. You will be then asked to complete a treatment consent form.

The treatment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour or more depending on the treatment.

Results Review

Many of our treatments are progressive and require a course of treatment for the optimal result. Some conditions will need maintenance treatments to maintain the final result.

Your practitioner will indicate the approximate number of treatments with you at the start. But as everyone is different this can only be used as an approximate guide and not as a guarantee.

The skin cycle on a health individual who has regular treatments is approximately 6 weeks.

Next Appointment

Our team will arrange your next appointment before you leave the clinic.

The total treatment cost will depend on the size of the area being treated and how many sessions are required. Prices range from £350.

However, on average, patients usually spend £950 per treatment. The full price breakdown will be explained to you during your consultation along with information on how you can pay by instalments interest free.
