A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift or forehead rejuvenation, is a cosmetic procedure to raise the brows.

As we age skin loses its elasticity and typically causes the brows to move down. A brow lift is performed using anti-wrinkle injections which work to raise the eyebrows giving a more lifted, refreshed and younger-looking appearance.
You might also consider a brow lift if you have a naturally low, sagging or unsymmetrical brows.

Your first step is a no-obligation consultation at Skintique Clinic. Your appointment will be booked with Dr Natalia Hancock.

Meeting your Doctor and the consultation.

All new patients from the 1st May 2021 will first have their images captured on our digital analysis system VisiaGen 8 prior to a consultation with our Doctor.

After taking a full medical history, Dr Natalia Hancock will discuss your expectations with you and the range of treatments that may be available. This will include both injectable treatments and possibly a range of other treatments that will improve the outcome. You will also be provided with detailed information on the procedure and the likely outcomes. Should you wish to go ahead with the treatment, another appointment will be made with Dr Hancock after a cooling-off period.

Your Treatment

On arrival for your treatment, you will be asked to check over your medical history form to confirm that nothing has changed. You will be then asked to complete a treatment consent form before having your treatment.

Your Results Review

Dr Hancock may invite you back into the clinic for a short review appointment approximately 2 weeks after your procedure if you have a botulinum treatment. This is to ensure you and the doctor are fully happy with your results. If required, adjustments can be made during this appointment.

Next Appointment

After your review, our team will arrange your next appointment in approximately 3 months’ time for if you have had botulinum injections.

Prices depend on your individual requirements, which will be discussed during your consultation.

As an example, 3 areas would cost from £240 – £280. This will also depend if the treatment is for a medical or for cosmetic reasons.

Frequently asked questions

How does the treatment work?

The injected product relaxes specific facial muscles that cause unwanted lines. It does this by blocking nerve signals to the muscle, to prevent it contracting. This causes a long-term reduction in the appearance of unwanted lines and wrinkles.

Common areas include the frown, forehead and crow’s feet areas. Once treated, the lines are smoothed away to create a more youthful appearance. A brow lift, jaw smoothing, neck lift, downturned mouth and gummy smile lines can also be treated.

How is the treatment performed?

As every client’s skin and required goals are unique, a bespoke consultation is essential prior to undergoing any advanced non-surgical treatment. During the consultation, we will discuss any problem areas, desired improvements, options available (including no treatment at all) and expected outcomes.

Should Anti-Wrinkle treatments be agreed upon as the most suitable treatment, tiny amounts of the product will be injected directly into the muscles that are responsible for contraction using an ultra-fine needle.

The injections are virtually painless, therefore require no anaesthetic.
These are completed within a matter of minutes.

How does the treatment feel?

The needle used to inject the product is ultra-fine, so the treatment is virtually painless and therefore requires no anaesthetic. In fact, most clients report hardly feeling the injections at all.

Is there any healing time?

With botulinum toxin injections, there is no downtime. In fact, it is possible to have this treatment in a lunch break and return straight back to work.

The risk of side effects is minimal. However, as with any injectable treatment, some clients may experience mild localised bruising, redness or swelling at the injection site.

Thorough cleansing of the skin prior to treatment and careful placement of the injections by a skilled practitioner helps to ensure these risks are as minimal as possible.
