Stretch Marks
Stretch Marks are the textured, coloured streaks that appear on certain parts of the body as the skin stretches. The severity of stretch marks is dependent on multiple factors, such as the genetics of an individual as well as the health of the skin. Anyone can develop stretch marks, however, they appear most commonly in females, pregnant women, those experiencing hormonal changes, those who have experienced stints of rapid growth, weight loss or gain, as well as a result of certain genetic disorders.
Stretch marks can appear on almost any part of the body, however, they are most common around the stomach, breasts, thighs and buttocks.
